Life Science Centre is offering up some brilliantly interesting ways to spend your time, as adults take over and Autumn is filled with some incredible fun ways to spend your days and evenings.
Whether you want to visit the current must-see exhibition Animal Inside Out, with Gunther von Hagens’ display one of the jewels in the crown of what’s happening currently at Life Science Centre. The astounding exhibition opened at Life in May, and offers a unique look into the animal kingdom with over 100 real plastinated animals and specimens on display.
As part of a special programme offering even more, October offers up some amazing work shops, with taxidermy at the heart of it, as a bird wing fascinator workshop takes place on Saturday 8th October, and anthropomorphic mouse taxidermy takes place on Sunday 9th October. Workshops are run by Tonja Grung, owner of Made from the Dead taxidermy and a member of the British Academy of Taxidermy.
Round your week and month out with the best kind of Friday night fun too, as the next Friday Night Life takes place on Friday 30th September. Guest speakers, planetarium shows and the chance to take part in psychological experiments in the Brain Zone make this another real treat to wind down from your working week. Let’s show the young ‘uns how to have fun properly!
