A true icon of the 1980s, Adam Ant was a household name at the height of his fame, the pop star seemed to be a legend in the making, and a new film follows him on his first tour for 15 years playing small London clubs, before a mammoth performance in front of 55,000 peope at Hyde Park. The Blue Black Hussar is set for a screening at The Cluny on Tuesday 21st June.

Jack Bond’s documentary features contributions from actress Charlotte Rampling, who inspired his first album Dirk Wears White Sox, the producer Mark Ronson, and the artist who was his mentor, Allen Jones. It all makes for an upbeat comeback story of a true legend of British pop music and the screening should draw in a lot of fans whose love for Adam Ant has never waned and use this chance to celebrate his lasting legacy.
