It’s the film everyone’s been waiting for: Iran’s first skateboarding vampire feminist spaghetti western! Yes you heard that right. Still, skateboarding vampire feminist spaghetti western…

The film is set in the Iranian ghost town of Bad City, a place that absolutely reeks of death and loneliness. The townspeople are totally unaware that they are being stalked by a lonesome vampire. And really, that’s all you need to know. Because skateboarding vampire spaghetti western. Surely that combination of words alone was enough to convince you that this could be the most brilliantly batshit movie of the year?

A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night begins screening at the Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle on Friday 22nd May.
