Stockton’s Bank Holiday is set to be a loud affair as grunge rock band Darlia are set to play the Georgian Theatre on Saturday 2nd May.

Hailing from Blackpool, the trio’s rock sound has taken them to play shows at Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury, as well as supporting the likes of Gerard Way and The Wombats. In January they released a debut mini-album, Petals, which topped off two Eps with a raucous eight track effort. Not being strangers to rock n roll, they keep very good company with comparisons to Nirvana, producing loud distorted guitars over roaring vocals that turn simple rocks songs into anthems.

Joining Darlia on the night are Sundara Karma, made up of four 18-year-olds from Berkshire they have taken the music world by storm. From having regular plays on Radio 1 to playing Reading festival last year, these boys are going to making waves in the coming year. Popular local band Shoot The Poet open the evening.
