Funny Peculiar, an exciting new production created by local writer, theatre director and activist Vici-Wreford Sinnott premieres online from Thursday 24th September.

Presented by Little Cog (an arts organisation specialising in Disability Art, theatre, and training), in association with ARC Stockton and Northern Stage, the online play is performed by an incredible cast of actors including Liz Carr (Silent Witness), Mandy Colleran (a comedian and activist), Bea Webster (Royal Shakespeare Company and The Playwright’s Studio of Scotland) and Little Cog’s very own Vici Wreford-Sinnott,

Broadcast from their own homes and set during quarantine, Funny Peculiar is a series of four cross-cutting, witty and wise monologues which gives voice to and highlights the fears, dark humour and incredible resilience of Disabled women.

The show is free, with donations welcome and can be booked via the ARC website. The first screening is sold out, but fear not as the piece will be available online for a month after the first screening.
