On Saturday 1st February at The Cluny, Newcastle, the 9×9 team present an evening of music in aid of the Firefighters Charity. It’s a charity that is close to their heart and the UK’s leading provider of services that enhance the quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.

Performing are Marc Riley’s darlings Bilge Pump a band that combines the best bits of Led Zeppelin, The Fall, Blue Cheer, Funkadelic and King Crimson and redistributes them in the form of an infectious, noisy, art/punk-rock hybrid. Joining them is the vocal loops and electronic soundscapes of Pinnel, electro-acoustic composer, Late Girl, electronic collage creator Chlorine, ‘untuned splarf-due’, The Russets, experimental outfit, Ten Sticks and the intense and mysterious The Unit Ama

Tickets are £5 (+donations) on the door and there will be donation buckets available on the night.
