ART & LIT Adam Pendleton – Shot Him In The Face @ BALTIC, Gateshead
American artist Adam Pendleton’s exhibition titled Shot Him In The Face occupies the Ground Floor gallery at BALTIC with one large-scale gesture—a wall that diagonally cuts across the exhibition space.

Tuesday 4th July
COMEDY Stand Spotlight @ The Stand, Newcastle
Join Neil Harris, Stu Edwards, Liberty Hodes, Omar Abid, Samantha Mayes, Julie Grady Thomas and your host Hal Branson for some bespoke comedy sets all on the topic of ageing.

Wednesday 5th July
STAGE Northern Stage Is Curious @ Northern Stage, Newcastle
The Curious LGBTQ arts festival launches with an evening of new writing and performance. Curious festival celebrates Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer cultures through the arts.

Thursday 6th July
COMEDY Shoe Cake Comedy Club @ Musiclounge, Stockton
After two packed first shows, the Shoe Cake Comedy Club is back again, this month bringing in A fab opener with Geordie live wire Michael Holford, Leon Brown, Greg Husband, Pete Selwood and amazing up and coming acts Simon Lomas and Matt Hoss all hosted by Si Beckwith.

Friday 7th July
MUSIC Emo Night @ Think Tank Underground, Newcastle
The chance to let loose and have a bit of an emo dance to top tracks from the likes of Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World, Funeral For A Friend and more, all courtesy of Stay Gold.

Saturday 8th July
EVENTS Murder Mystery @ The County Hotel, Newcastle
There’s been a murder! The County Newcastle Hotel are hosting a Murder Mystery in aid of Percy Hedley foundation.

Sunday 9th July
FILM Jaws @ Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle
The classic Spielberg film comes for a run at Tyneside Cinema this month, and is a film you need to see, and if you already have, you need to see again. Masterfully shot and incredibly influential with a superb script, it’s an ideal Sunday viewing, just don’t plan a trip to the beach any time after.
