Monday 17th April
MUSIC Mutilated Judge @ Pop Recs, Sunderland

Tuesday 18th April
COMEDY Rob Auton – The Sleep Show @ The Stand, Newcastle
The acclaimed poet produces some incredibly moving, thoughtful and funny shows, with the sleep show set to be no different. A really gifted way with words, this could be the perfect way to pick yourself up after a lengthy Easter weekend.

Wednesday 19th April
EVENTS Live Animal Handling @ Great North Museum, Newcastle
Would you like to meet Alvin and Simon the prairie dogs, Bob the bearded dragon or Prickles the African pygmy hedgehog? Animal Story are bringing a huge selection of live creatures to the museum this Easter for you to meet and hold under their expert supervision and something for Easter holiday week to keep the little ones out of trouble.

Thursday 20th April
FILM NT Live: Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead @ ARC, Stockton
Daniel Radcliffe, Joshua McGuire and David Haig star in Tom Stoppard’s brilliantly funny situation comedy, broadcast live from The Old Vic theatre in London.

Friday 21st April
FILM Free Fire @ Tyneside Cinema
Ben Wheatley’s brand new heart-stopping thriller about an arms deal that goes spectacularly wrong could be one of this year’s cult hits and rival previous successes Sightseers and High-Rise.

Saturday 22nd April
ART & LIT Creative Age Exhibition @ Arts Centre Washington
A celebration of a weekly Creative Age group, which is a group designed for people living with the early stages of dementia. They will be displaying work in a variety of mediums including printmaking, painting, sculpture and will include a 3D installation of Penshaw Monument. 

Sunday 23rd April
EVENTS Supper Club with Jason Issacs @ Bonbar, Newcastle
A night of fine dining, exquisite champagnes and ‘The King of Swing’. Something a bit different for your Sunday, and maybe a well deserved treat.
