Monday 26th October
MUSIC Seth Lakeman @ ARC, Stockton
Devon’s multi-instrumentalist and superb songwriter Seth Lakeman teams up with Nebraska native Josh Rouse, whose work features understated vocals and intelligent vignettes.

Tuesday 27th October
MUSIC St.Lo @ The Cluny
Electro/rap outfit St.Lô bring their fearsome energy and addictive grooves to Newcastle’s Cluny.

Wednesday 28th October
COMEDY Red Raw @ The Stand
10 comedians, £2. What’s not to love? The Stand’s weekly showcase offers the very best in new comedy, with comperes Matt Reed and Rory O’Hanlon seeing things off to a flying start.

Thursday 29th October
STAGE We Are Bronte @ Washington Arts Centre
Visual comic theatre is the order of the day, as Publick Transport present a physical romp and an irreverent take on gothic themes of love, madness, repression and revenge.

Friday 30th October
ART & LIT Crab Walk @ NGCA, Sunderland
Exploring a variety of curatorial approaches to initiate a type of institutional archaeology, Crab Walk will present new work in a range of media, including sculpture, audio, film and painting.

Saturday 31st October
COMEDY Jenny Éclair @ The Witham, Barnard Castle
Professional grumpy old woman Jenny Éclair attempts to dismiss (or perhaps, highlight) some of the hilarities of middle age in her new stand-up show, How To Be A Middle Aged Woman (Without Going Insane).

Sunday 1st November
FILM Deeds Not Words screening and walk @ Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle
Join a guided walk to find out how Newcastle’s suffragette women met, marched and behaved badly, in order to win the vote. Followed by a screening of the film.
