For those feeling the pinch after Christmas but unwilling to let go of the party mood just yet, NE1’s Newcastle Restaurant Week is the answer to your social dilemmas. Over 80 restaurants in Newcastle city centre are offering superb value fixed price menus between Monday 18th and Sunday 24th January, meaning that the only pinch you’ll be really feeling is around your waistline.

Restaurants taking part will offer two courses for £10 or three for £15, and with some of the city’s most indulgent locations taking part, there’s serious value to be had. Some of the tastiest offers on the table are at Tyneside Bar Café (where your £10 or £15 also get you a free drink), The Stand bistro, The Botanist, newcomers Bottle Shop Bar & Kitchen, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill, Longhorns, Lane7, Dabbawal and many more.

The city’s restaurant scene is booming, and NE1’s contribution in organising such a successful event as Restaurant Week has seen both hungry punters and independent restaurateurs feeling the benefit.

To get in on the action, book a table via the NE1 website.
