We caught up with comedian Phil Walker ahead of his appearance at Manford’s Comedy Night at Bonded Warehouse, Sunderland on Saturday 13th October.

So, tell us a bit about yourself and what you do?

My name is Phil Walker I’m an international award winning hilarious comedian, Panto star and soon to be children’s book author.

What’s the first record you ever bought?
Power of love Frankie Goes To Hollywood.

What’s your guilty pleasure musically?
Musicals.

Favourite film of all time?
Unforgiven, the Clint Eastwood film.

Your guilty pleasure film?
Bad Santa.

If you could recommend one TV series to binge watch, what would it be?
The Sopranos.

Your favourite book?
Lord Of The Rings.

Who or what makes you laugh the most?
Laurel & Hardy.

Who or what makes you sad?
Selfishness. Ignorant people who talk or look at their phones in comedy clubs during the show.

If you had super power, what would it be?
Invisibility, then I would spend all day slapping Donald Trump and pulling his wig off

And finally, you get to play a board game with any three famous people from history, who do you choose and what’s the board game?
George Carlin, Roald Dahl and Robin Williams. Monopoly because it lasts ages so we could have a nice long chat.
