Over the past twelve months, our magazine and website have been brimming with super-talented, creative souls. We asked a few of them to tell us about their 2019. We chat with Endem, rapper and head of Legitimate Anarchy Records to see how his year has panned out.

So, how was your 2019?
Really good, thank you! As a label, we’ve managed to successfully put out three projects, all of which were well received. We’ve seen some incredible growth, especially in the merchandising side of things as well as our numbers and social presence etc, etc. To be honest I couldn’t have asked for better in regards to Legitimate Anarchy.

What was your best moment?
I’m going to have to say shooting one of my projects singles videos, Turn The Phyco Up. Me, Rob Irish, E-Mence and King Tigaro went to some mad abandoned school covered in make-up and fake blood, broke in and set loads of smoke bombs off inside all whilst whispering the lyrics in case of awakening the hordes of spirits obviously asleep in there.

And your worst moment?
There was a couple at the start of the year where I had given up in all regards because of what was happening in my personal life but I’m still here.

Your favourite band/artist of the year?
Hmmmm, toughy. I won’t choose any from Legitimate Anarchy because obviously, that’s biased so I’ll say outside of us I’ll say Shakk. He’s a very close personal friend and despite what he’s going through or if he has a tough time he still calculates his way through and cracks on. Large up Shaun.

Your favourite song of the year?
Locally? Megadrive by King Tigaro/Weirdest Part by E-mence or Die alone by Eyeconic. Not locally, Returns by NF.

Favourite TV show of the year?
Van Helsing SONNN! It’s madness. I love anything with vampires and zombies and death, probably because of the lack of haemoglobin I have myself so yeah. Watch it it’s unreal.

Your favourite film?
These questions are so hard haha. Erm, World War Z or on the flip side Enemy of the State. The Dark Knight gets in there too.

Best book you read?
Truthfully I don’t read mate, I can never find the time. If I was going to then probably something by Stephen King.

Favourite venue of the year?
Stanhope park. Outdoors/Beer. What’s not to love!

What was your favourite gig/show of the year?
Stanhope Park at the Carnival. Love that showing, always a great time and awesome atmosphere.

Any upcoming artists we should keep an eye out for in 2020?
Aside from King Tigaro/E-Mence? Abi Nyxx. I’ve seen a couple of her jams and she’s awesome.

And finally, what has next year got in store for you?
Keep building on what we’ve built. I’ve got it too a position where I’m happy with the running and what we have. A tour is probably the next best move but it’s finding the time. Long as I plan it well that should happen next year.
