Reliably informed

Over the last twelve months, we’ve had our pages filled with some incredible creative souls, we asked a few of them to be kind enough to share some words on a year that the world all went a bit odd. Next up, it’s atmospheric indie quartet Coquin Migale.

So, how was your 2016?
2016 has been mint thanks, probably our best year yet.

What was your best moment of 2016?
Our best moment of the year has to be headlining the BBC introducing stage at Reading & Leeds Festival! We found this one particularly difficult considering we were sent to South Korea to play Zandari Festa in October, which was also ridiculous.

And your worst moment?
Probably agreeing to have Mark join the band. We also missed out on a pretty huge support slot by a hair, which would of been incredible, however to have been considered was a compliment itself.

Your favourite band of 2016?
Don Broco.

Your favourite song of the year?
You Me At Six – Reckless (with a capital R).

Your favourite film?
My favourite film of 2016 (Alex) would probably have to be The Revenant.

What was your favourite gig of the year?
Our favourite gig of 2016 has to be the Reading set. The BBC introducing stage and team were next level! Myself and Mark also managed to swindle some guest passes for Bring Me The Horizon’s show at the Manchester MEN and that was also next level.

And finally, what has 2017 got in store for you?
We have ourselves another tour in February which you can look into via our facebook page, in the ‘about’ section. There’ll be new material, of course and we’ll just continue doing what we do.
