Reliably informed

With the next installment of comedy at The Old Cinema Laundrette in Durham arriving on Friday 29th June, we found out five reasons you don’t want to muss this show.

1. Two shows in one night.

What’s better than one hilarious comedy show? Two of course! For just a few quid, you can take in two of the best acts in the region at a wonderful….

2. Unique venue.

Old Cinema Launderette is a truly unique and special venue. Yes it’s a fully working launderette during the day but at night finds itself hosting a large variety of music events. It’s steeped in history too, as its name suggests, it used to be a cinema dating back to 1928 which informs much of the retro-chic vibe of the venue today.

3. Seymour Mace.

One of the most blisteringly funny comics on the circuit, BBC’s Ideal star Seymour Mace, is bringing his latest show to the evening. He was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award (many know this as the “Perrier”) as well as picking up numerous accolades. He’s best seen live in the flesh so get yourself down!

4. Tony Jameson.

This will be his third solo show after selling out his tour across the UK with Football Manager Ruined My Life. He’s been called “painfully funny” by The List so come and find out why.

5. Better than half price for our readers!

Normally tickets would be £7 but our readers can purchase special price tickets for just £3 here.

Seymour Mace and Tony Jameson are at The Old Cinema Laundrette, Durham on Friday 29th June.
