All aboard! Darlington’s Last Train Home festival returns on Saturday 7th September with a day of first class performances from regional and national artists. After last year’s runaway success, we’re proud to be hosting one of the stages once again, with full details to be revealed imminently!

The festival celebrates the town’s rich railway heritage – and finishes in time for punters to get their last train home! – and is run by Darlington music collective Tracks, with seven ‘beautiful and bizarre’ stages hosting over 50 live music and comedy performances.

Today’s announcement sees Tyneside noise makers Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, alt. rockers A Festival. A Parade, the harmony-drenched loveliness of The Cornshed Sisters, the bizarre genre-mash soundscapes of Ponyland and attitude-ridden punk rock from VENUS join the fun, plus there’s a showcase from hip-hop collective Legitimate Anarchy Records and the stunning vocals and intriguing arrangements of Eve Conway. Add to that sets from Motel Carnation, Shakk, Dead Naked Hippies, PEAKES, Eyeconic, Nel Unlit, Finn Forster, Holy Braille and Charlotte Grayson, plus live comedy courtesy of Hilarity Bites Comedy Club and featuring performances from Gavin Webster, Lee Kyle, Rob Mulholland, Good Kids, Lyndsey Santoro and Rob Kemp.

Tickets are a mere £15 in advance and, with many more performers to be announced over the coming weeks, don’t miss it!
