A new pop-up exhibition will be providing a platform for Teesside University graduates and early and mid-career artists to test out their work this month. Curated by AndNow Curatorial, with support from Middlesbrough’s contemporary art gallery mima, the show will premiere on Wednesday 26th November at the unused office space in Navigator North, Dundas House in Middlesbrough.

The experimental exhibition will take three stages: Static encompasses an exhibition of the selected artists’ works; Workshop, where artists will be involved in a critique surrounding the outcome of the first stage of the exhibition; and finally Flux, where artists can change the curation of the show, as well as having the opportunity to change their work, using the exhibition location as a project space. Aiming to engage artists from the Tees Valley region at different stages of their practice, and showcasing work by Stephen Irving and Roberto Picciau, the exhibition offers a platform to test work and develop ideas in a quick-moving and fluid event.
