If you’re looking for an album which is tender, poetic and vocally alluring, Irish indie rockers Little Green Cars have got you covered with their sophomore release, Ephemera.

The Song They Play Every Night teases you into the album with dynamic yet peaceful harmonies. The second track, Easier Day, astutely jumps in with the captivating and stripped voice of Faye O’Rourke, before introducing the adept, folksy guitar which is typical of their charismatic tracks. Tracks like Clair de Lune, however, further encapsulate their rustic charm, bouncing straight in with charming lyrics, an animated drum beat and an uplifting chorus.

The harmonised vocals of the elegant quintet are idyllic; it’s an album to daydream to.
